Internet World's annual Webbdagarna event focuses on the business opportunities of the Internet. SiteScanner was both a participant and sponsor in Malmö and Gothenburg.
The E-business award is a new part of the programme. The newly established prize is awarded to the year's sharpest E-business manager in southern and western Sweden. SiteScanner and Internet World made up the jury. The two winners are rewarded with a load test from SiteScanner. A load test evaluates the capacity of a website by simulating a large number of simultaneous visitors.
In Malmö, the winner was Tina Dalemo, Head of Marketing at Skånska byggvaror. She has been working on introducing the company 's newly launched e-commerce platform. A few days later Per Arhusen, change manager at Papyrus, won the Gothenburg leg of the award. Through a long-term work process he has ensured that 40 per cent of the company's orders are received online.
- I am delighted at having received this award on Papyrus's behalf. A lot of people are involved on this project and we have convinced a large number of corporate leaders of its profitability. So it's by no means a one-man show”, says Per Arhusen to Internet World.
Both Skånska byggvaror and Papyrus secure availability and performance at websites with the help of SiteScanner.
